Blue Limestone

Blue limestone is known as part of the hard limestone group. The quarries of this material are mainly distributed in the Northern provinces including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Lang Son, in which Thanh Hoa Bluestone accounts for 90% of total export volume and domestic volume.

Since the late 1990s, Vietnam's Blue limestone has been exported to the Benelux market and is highly prized by architects, builders and consumers for its aesthetics, physiology and chemistry.

SHA Vietnam has been supplying blue limestone products to European markets since 2007. Today, Vietnamese blue limestone is not only sold in a big quantity in Benelux markets but also increasingly known and liked by consumers from other markets such as France, Scotland, Germany, Australia...etc.

We are supplying an average of 450 – 500 containers 20’DC 28 MT full loaded of blue limestones per year, and 80% of the quantity is sold to European markets.

Currently, SHA Vietnam has our own Blue limestones quarry in Lang Son province. Moreover, we are also cooperating with 03 producers of Thanh  Hoa blue limestone. Since 2016, all our blue limestone products supplied have been exploited by Diamond wire sawing technology replacing for the Explosive quarrying method, which helps the products avoiding the crackings caused by frost weather.
